Turbidity monitor

For continuous monitoring of the clear filtrate, AQUACHEM uses a turbidity monitor. The filtrate leaving the filter press is analysed for suspended solids to ensure consistently high process quality.

 

The filter press control system is designed so that, if a defined turbidity threshold is exceeded, the filtrate is automatically returned to the feed tank. This prevents insufficiently clarified medium from entering the downstream process.

 

This recirculation cycle continues until the filtrate reaches the required clarity and the process is stable again. If no sufficient improvement is achieved within a defined period, a fault signal is automatically triggered, enabling a rapid response in plant operation.
