Feeding units

Based on many years of experience, AQUACHEM selects the optimal pump technology tailored to your specific application to ensure a reliable and process-safe feed into your filter press.

 

Depending on the medium, process requirements and desired level of automation, we offer the following pump systems for your feed unit:

 

• air-operated double diaphragm pumps for robust and versatile applications
• electric diaphragm pumps for energy-efficient and controllable operation
• peristaltic pumps for gentle and low-pulsation conveying
• centrifugal pumps for continuous conveying processes
• progressive cavity pumps for highly viscous or solids-laden media

 

Electric pumps can optionally be equipped with a suitable frequency inverter to enable stepless and precise control of the flow rate. For positive displacement systems, we also integrate appropriate overpressure protection to ensure safe operation of the entire filtration plant.

 

This results in a perfectly matched feed unit that ensures uniform filling of the filter presses, supports efficient filter cake formation, and optimises the overall solid-liquid separation process.
